Why is it still taught in the nation's schools??...I genuinely believe the language is obsolete and serves no purpose...it is a barbaric language used by low-class, uncivilized savages..In order for Nepal to progress as a nation, it is vital that the Nepali language is replaced by English...English is the language of the wise and knowledgeable, nepali is the language of the village idiots and the incorrigible dolts...I mean look at english there are so many elegant words and phrases...and any given term has the capacity to describe a specific person, location, or object so beautifully....for example, in english if you were to see a beautiful lady you could describe her as "attractive, gorgeous, lovely, good-looking, aesthetically appealing, etc"..but in the primitive language used by you nepali neanderthals the only way you could describe the her would be "ramri cha"...i mean come on "ramro" is the same way you would describe a nice house, a car, a movie, or a friend's haircut..."ramro cha" , "ramro dekyo"....cant you idiots say something else??....i mean what the hell??....you have 36 characters in your alphabet, not including the ka kaah kee kee bullshiit...if you include that youd have 36*12...so about 432 characters...and english has only 26 letters, yet it uses them so much more effectively....i mean look at the english dictionary and then look at the piece of crap nepali dictionary...the english version is so much more detailed, advanced, and comprehensive....the nepali dictionary is such garbage...how do you get such a small dictionary despite the fact that you can mix and match among 432 characters??....and the language is so gay that there are some letters among the original 36 that are rarely, if ever, used...so my solution is this...lets do away with this garbage, prehistoric, useless language and employ english as the primary language in Nepal...Nepal will be a better country for it...and..oh yea, sanskrit sucks

bikasjyu First of all let me congratulate you on your growing list of vocabulary, in english language. Just because you dont have any words besides ramro cha in nepali does not mean Nepali language does not have any words.

Let me give you an example of time and situtation.
Someone breaks a glass with a stone.
english A dude, it was like , a wtf.... went bam right into the glass, shattered to pieces.
If you can read this,....... jharlayma, charlyamma, dwanga, twakka... chaknachur.
Nepali can describe how the event took place, our words mimic the action of glass breaking itself.

Dude I can go on and on.....but How does the khaire with 26 letter vocab pronounce your name

bikasjyu BYE-CASH-ZOO How effing LAME

Yea, dwannga and twakka are very descriptive...those are the same words I use to describe several of my wide array of farts..."pweeka", "pwocka", and "batatata" also describe glass shattering, I presume?

anyways, your language sucks and you know it...look where it has taken all of you...right into the lap of poverty and despair..your lives are terrible..have a nice day

I don't have a good grasp of Nepali language as compare to many of you guys out there. I am curious and would like to know how would you describe a woman ? BJ has already given an example as how one could describe in English.

English has more words because most of the words in English are derived from other languages like greek, latin, french, german etc. Nepali has very few words that were derived from other languages because Nepal had been isolated for long time. Recenty Nepali is influenced by Urdu, Hindi, and English.
Nepali itself is not a poor language, its the speakers who don't know how to use of it. Its the Nepali culture that we don't like to use adjective while talking about others. But when it comes to negative things to say about others they come of with plenty of words.
One thing about Nepali is I don't like is the class system like Tapai, Timi, Ta, and Hazur.

Why are you guys all hating on Bikashyu? I dont know why you all dont realize that he thrives on the fact that you cannot come up with a decent rebuttal. Maybe you should focus your energy in figuring out a logical rebuttal instead of threatening the poor guy and responding with "mach%kne, randi ko chora .. .etc"

If you think Nepali is poor and premitive then what do you think about other Janajaaati languages like Newari, Gurung, Rai, Tamang, Limbu, Maithali, etc .....
