Heard in the news that King was found to be responsible for the killing of 21 people. So what's going to happen next? Are they going to sentence the king to death like saddam? Sachit samsher seems to think that king acted under the constitution so he is not guilty. What if the constitution itself was wrong? BBC spent almost 10 minutes on this news but I don't see anything in nepalnews or kantipuronline. Anyone have any other news regarding this?

When king was in power, there were news to punish Girija for corruption...Did they punish him?UML halted Parliament for almost 6 months to protest Girija for well known Dhamija issues...These all politicians including king are players of the same team...They are just trying to play their cards to influence people... Everything is being done in Nepal for the sake of peace...and people are quiet and not raising the constitutional validity for all these acts coz people want peace... So it is good for everybody if Maoist without arms,King without power and democratic parties with improved attitude shares power to rule the country for better future of coming generation... Let's not argue whether king/prachanda or anybody else will be punished...Let's contribute for peaceful nepalese community..

I agree with Hi nanu, pick anybody who is or was in power in Nepal, everybody is guilty in either case. King killed under constitution - seems logically incongruous. No constitution allows the governing body to kill public. We're far behind in development process, we do not need to go too far, think of India 15 years back and now. Lets pray for peace....!!!

These dumb****ers should have been sentenced to life in jail. Then only will we be able to have a peaceful life... Prachanda as***** wants to be the next President? My a**. Gyane chor is acting like a helpless kid, trying to look innocent..should be dumped in Bagmati. Girija...trying to act as if Nepal is all his, should be sent to his Bihar...Makune..thinking he has the only right attitude...go back to Bardiya...develop Bardiya first dumb. We need new faces...those who are far away from corruption..those who aren't already corrupted by these corrupted politicians....

Bibas100, Lets say you're an employee in a govt. office and you make Rs 10,000 a month, you've 2 kids goes to school and a wife works part time and makes Rs 5000 and you all live in Kathmandu. Do you think you can raise you family with Rs 15,000 a month - this situation makes you corrupt. Two rising powers of the world China and India have corruption too but still they're developing. Development is possible under corruption too but you have to have - PEACE AND STABILITY..........!!

My dad used to earn 5000 a month and still we survived...Now don't give me that 15000 figure and ask me if we could have survived with that...It is all about your nature...the inherent trend to corrupt...so your dad was among those huh? We should track him down too...

my dad also started job as a section officer after his B.Sc. he was always very clean. I know how difficult it is to survive with just one person's salary. he could not afford us to send to schools in ktm, so we studied in rural area where he used to work. He did his masters and later became 1st class officer. it was about 15 years ago when he became 1st class office and the salary was about 7000. we started living in ktm. i know how tough it is. we never had luxurious life. my father tried to give us whatever he could but never involved in any kind of corruption activities. he is a technical person still so sometimes he used to work in some projects where he used to earn more. he used to visit foreign countries for seminar and thats how he manage to save some money and brought us stuffs. he is about to retire now and his salary is about 10-12000 i guess, not sure. my family are still strugglign with such kind of money to survive in ktm. what he taught us is discipline, and he tried to gave us best education that he could afford. i never had more than 3 pairs of clothes and 2 pairs of shoes until i complete my engineering. This is typical middle class house in ktm whose parents dont involve in bribes. I have seen people who are like in small posts and with lower education but still manage to build nice tall bulding and send thier kids to good school. I used to think like why my father can not do this, later i realise its all corruption and that is what my dad never did, otherwise no one in nepal can make such houses with govt salary. I am proud of my father and his commitment towards his work and country. I hesitate to go back to nepal to serve but he did. hats off to you.

Hi guys...Let's not talk about who are corrupt and who are not? Let's be a part of community and contribute positive though for better and peaceful country... Let's not take the names of crooks like Govinda Raj Joshi,Wagle and many more...Avoid them, ignore them...they do not deserve any discussion...they are termites...

Nanu, Agreed, parents should be respected but we should jail them with respect for their crimes. We don't spit on them but we can surely jail them for the misdeeds. These shameless people deserve to serve a life in jail. Donkeys...they wanted a prosperous life at the cost of the poor Nepalese...I am not angered cause my parents did not have a good life but because there were millions who had a worse life....all because of these retards... Now I can see why binaya was blabbering all along...and how did your dad get the chance to come to princeton?...how about your family history? would you mind if I asked you to shed some lights on that?
