Recently I was reading an article which rated the 5 best inventions mankind has made in the course of it's history. The editor's/expert picks were

1. Wheel
2. Printing Press
3. Gunpowder
4. Electricity
5. The Silicon Transistor

How many of you agree with this choice. Do you think anything else should be part of the list or something is left out?

no. i don't agree with some of the items.
but the best and most important invention in my opinion is the toilet and then modern flushing toilet.

can you guys imagaine life without toilet and sewage system.

i would rather point out the worst invention ever, which is clothes. how nice it would be if everybody could remain nude. *imagines*

no invention is greater than other because all invention follows in steps.

you may say internet is importatn. But whats internet without computer. And computer inturn runs through electricity with many chips.Each chips is made of millions of transistors, Each trasnsistors has diodes. Diodes are made on the concept of charges ie electrons and protons. We would not have discovered electrons unless we didnt discovered elements.

everything has followed a series of steps. if the chain is broken then we wouldnt have been here.

i insist that without modern toilet life would be misery.
other things are not that important....

just think about life without proper sanitation.

therefore toilet is the best inventions of mankind.

I don't quite know which is the best, but on of my favorites is the compass. It made the British the masters of the sea and allowed a tiny island in Europe to dominate the world for a long time.

Time is not an invention, ki kaso? Because it is a natural phenomenon... animals are aware of time. Time maybe on the list of things discovered, not invented

Just for thought guys. Just think about it.

You used this at least once a day. Guys used it. Girls used it.
You find this almost everywhere from fast food restaurants to gas station to shopping mall. Even CIA and White House has it.
Everyhouse has it because without it it isn't a complete house.

When we talk about all the things we have in our daily life we seemed to forget about toilet and its sewage system. But guys be appreciative after thinking this for a moment will you.
Life without toilet will have never become the same.
I don't need we want to see people dropping "the bomb" everywhere..........

First of all, this Title is completely wrong.

You can not say the best or Top Five.

There is maybe 100 or 1000 best inventions. You can not compare one invention is better than other. Each invention is the most important in its own field.
