Welll!!! first of all hiee to everyone...

Well ma ta nepali manche.. hai ani ma nepali ko chora.. Maile nepal ma huda kheriii ghar ma thagthiyee.. well I didn't usually used to work that much.. All the work that I did was eating, sleeping, roaming around, bunking college, going home sometimes late nite and many more... but I never did any work where I could earn some money.. Well now I am doing some work to earn money.. I find lesson in every second of mah work... I keep on seeing new things that I never faced in mah life.. LIfe is so beautiful.. In fact I found it lot more beautiful when I am working to earn something in mah life.. I have never seen any money of mah own.. But I know in couple of days I am gonna see mah first earning of mah life... I am gonna see the beautiful dreams that I had set up in mah mind.. for rest of mah life.. even though the money that I get won't fulfill all of mah dreams and desires...

Seeing through the overall view of mah work I find it really very hard to earn the first penny of mah life.. with which I am gonna smile when I see that first earning of mah life.. that will be in mah hands ...

I think we all are living to learn ... that's what I learned when I am working to get mah first penny of mah life.............

My first job was in Pepsi for 10 days. We sold 1 Ltr. bottle Pepsi products (first time in Nepal) in Dashrat Rangasala during SAF Football. I made Rs. 1200 and I gave that money to my mom. I was 16 at that time.

After that I served for Nepal goverment and worked with different projects for 6 years. I joined at 18 and quit and 23 and half before comming to USA. It was easy money.

Life was not easy in NY. I worked 3 days in Video Max . Worked like dog for Korean and at last ended up in Electronics Store in Broadway.

I am living in monthly pay checks (Salary). Not that big money but I got no complain about that.

I first worked was for a school- a primary teacher when I was 18 (after ISc). Salary was Rs 1000 with foods and lodge. First salary I used was to buy shoes and T-shirt (NIKE). Next Salary was pickpocketed when travelling in a city bus. Poor Macho! I almost cried. Then..got salaries for next six months coming here for study.

From Bachelor through many academic years..I got handful of money as sholarships.. Now.. getting clean salaries $4***/month from a Health Institute. I am happy.

Summieet, I can understand how excited you are to have your salary on hand !! Cheers..!

yeah, earning the first penny of your life is very hard. I remember myself sweating and didnt know what was going on when i worked for the first time. I said to myself, "what the hell did i get myself into??" Working felt so hard that time that i cant explain in here, but when pay day came and i got my first "mehanat ko $$" in my hands, it felt really good. I felt as if i did something, as if i achieved something, as if i took one step towards being independant, as if i learned one more lesson in life. I cried all the time that i worked and i smiled when i got that $$ in my hand. A wonderful experience, a moment to be cherished for the rest of my life.
