Wowal JI,

I use NickelTalk, 35 cents (+tax) per minutes to Nepal. You can dial directly from your land line and can also access from your cell phone. There might be a one time setup fee from your telephone provider. I have been using this service for over 1 1/2 years and its getting better every day.

Hope this helps!

Hey guys, 35 cents + tax is way too much you are paying. Try www.tel3advantage.com I have been one of its happy customesr since last 4-5 months. You can talk Kathmandu for 19 cents/minute. Nice thing about this company is that they are relly honest. This is the best company I have ever found and I do not hesitate to recommend. Check and try yourself to believe.

i use powerdial from powenet-global.org. there r other plans as well. the connection is not good all the time but it's acceptable. it is a long distance calling plan not a calling card. there's no monthly fee, u get charged as u use it and it's 20 cents/min for ktm. it takes 1-2 weeks to get an a/c w/ em. one thing that i like the most from this plan is 6 seconds billing increment.

I agree with nirvanatel's horror story. You rather throw your money in trash than buy the card and torture yourself for next 3 days trying to connect to Nepal, as it will never happen.

REena 26
Be cool my friend.I am not owner of any card company.I am just customer.Being rude about nirvana tel menas...not owner of any card company.THink about it.

I used that card once. Its not too bad when anyone could conact finally.
But it has many disadvantage.ITs customer service is totally bad.Noone going to response afterall.
I called many times to customer servic. After strong struggle, one guy response me but he was indian not Nepali.
Why do they hired Indian guy as a employ of Nirvan tel,if it is nepali company?DO you think about that. You can just call there customer service No and check whether do they receive phone or not?
REena there are alots pinless companies in this word which are better then Nirvana tel in all sense. It is right to buy good deal card for us and it doesnot matter whether its Nepalease or foreginer.

May be you read some negative stories about nirvana tel in this thread.

Thank you hearing me
Ram

smita shrestha ---hi reena 26,
i agree !i too use the service of NirvanaTel.But the subject we are discussing out here is the employees.I got a call by this Simita Shrestha a woman or a girl i don't know she persuaded me to get the card when i was not using the service then i thought 5 $ not a problem as she kept insisting me to buy the card ,looking to make business for the company thats fine but then she started making personal calls and emailing but that too was fine ,we do get attracted sometime but then same type of emails and phone calls to a few of my friends too got from her ,this got me sick and thinking is this the trick of the company or for her personal benefit, sometimes she called saying no sale please buy i need to make business ,i don't know what to say to her but the sad part is that she doesn't know what mails and calls she makes from nepal after work or from work is so common among friends out here .She need to stop this and stop sharing her personal problems ok i agree with one person fine not with anyone she meets.I tried to stop receiving her calls but then i cannot switch off my mobile i made excuses to avoid her but then i don't know who she is ,all the time cause we recieve a lot of calls but now its gettig serious does the company allow this ,please check on your empoyees.

NirvanaTel is not bad for its service but then situation like this should be avoided and taken care of as soon as possible. She even calls up when we are at work ,please check on her.I couldn't tell her directly , i hope the company does it.When she calls for hours ,we just keep quite and listen to her gauf. What a big gafarai she is .
ok sometimes calls and emails on simple topic fine but then she is getting to deep into our lives ..talking personal.calling to chat and calling to miss and all sorts of things .

Does she ever get tired of these things .
If she doesn't stop we will have to publish this in the locals out here and that wil be the end of everything .

please help and stop these calls and emails just do business.
please don't be so hard on them as to see them approach these methods of doing business and staying in the company
thank you.
