Wowal JI, I use NickelTalk, 35 cents (+tax) per minutes to Nepal. You can dial directly from your land line and can also access from your cell phone. There might be a one time setup fee from your telephone provider. I have been using this service for over 1 1/2 years and its getting better every day. Hope this helps!

Hey guys, 35 cents + tax is way too much you are paying. Try www.tel3advantage.com I have been one of its happy customesr since last 4-5 months. You can talk Kathmandu for 19 cents/minute. Nice thing about this company is that they are relly honest. This is the best company I have ever found and I do not hesitate to recommend. Check and try yourself to believe.

i use powerdial from powenet-global.org. there r other plans as well. the connection is not good all the time but it's acceptable. it is a long distance calling plan not a calling card. there's no monthly fee, u get charged as u use it and it's 20 cents/min for ktm. it takes 1-2 weeks to get an a/c w/ em. one thing that i like the most from this plan is 6 seconds billing increment.
