There is an application fee of 320 dollars for replacement. But if I do not report it to USCIS and if I can provide them the proof of leaving the US and "not overstaying", do you think there might be a problem the next time I re-enter US? Anybody please help.

THANKS

THANKS A LOT PREMLAMA!

You brought me a relief. Do you think they never issued me one ...Coz..I do not remember losing any documents? Is that how it works for all B1/ B2 visas?

This is the first time I had visited US and I never dealt with situations like this before.

I-94 should be issued to anyone who enter USA legally. There is no away u can enter USA from POE without I-94 issuance for u. There should be stamp in yr passport for the duration u r given to stay in US. If u leave USA within the valid period, no more problem for u when u r coming again next time. BUT when u are going back to Nepal pls be in airport before time caz they may ask u I-94's details. U can shoe the VISA stamping so that they will be convinced and ease happens. POE will issue u new I-94 in yr next visit. For yr convenience u can talk to USCIS that u loose yr I-94 before u go back.

I have a stamp in my passport, which just indicates the arrival date at the POE but the stamp mentioning the duration of stay is nowhere to be found. I was issued a 6 months duration at the POE. the officer told me not to stay over 6 months.

USA_Kathmandu friend, I have seen a case like yours. One of the person I  have known was here for tourist  visa and he did not have I 94. I did not hear anything from him so i guess it should be fine. To be sure check with anyone who has known the person in US with tourist visa.
