my company from london is transferring me to CA (Santa Monica). I have been in the UK since 1995 with family (wife and 2 young children).
But I have been requested to transfer there and have to give decision to my company by the end of this month.

I have no friends in the CA area. I do not know how would it be like living in that area as I can't live without constant contacts with the Nepalese community.

You will be very glad that you are living in California, sp. in santa monica area.. you can contact los angeles nepalese community there.. ANMCA or something.. search in google. There are so many nepalese in LA area and they have a huge dashain function coming up.

Weather is awesome and place is expensive too.. so try looking for a house in suburb.. housing market is bad so its good time to buy.

Santa monica... i would love to live there.  Santa monica is fabolous place to live though bit expensive. Regarding Nepalese in that area , join the Dashain celebration or contact ANSA or FON to contact fellow nepali.
