I was actually preparing to write a reply to another thread titled "Lets support Hillary" , but then I thought to myself, this deserves its own thread. Please free to join in.
The original poster Seandai in another thread says,"Lets support Hillary" since I guess, he thinks she can fix his economy.
I say, lets support OBAMA!!.
He's young, an intellectual, great temperament, and a politician with a
charisma.
No president can fix the economy by himself or herself. You fix your own
economy. If you’ve lived in America long enough (1992 onwards), you’d know that
Bill Clinton’s success was the combination of many factors which of course
includes him, but also the economic cycle itself. Presidents can help by not
imposing some ideology to all Americans, just like the ideology Bush
pushed in the name of Iraq, and by giving preference to the domestic economy
instead of focus in, for example Star wars technologies which Ronald Regan
& his successor the first Bush did . Bill Clinton came to Washington DC and he cut the defense budget. He was a new
guy for Arkansas, and he did things differently (as opposed to the usual Washington
ways which still had a cold war mindset). I see the similar theme in
Obama.
The perception that Hillary can boost the economy, and not
Obama is simply a "spin" played out in the media by Mark Penn and the gangs in the Clinton campaign.
Both are similar in terms of the "issues", hence the
political ideology will not be in play if democrats win coming November.
Seandai, get you facts straight if you want to play the honest political game which will
reap rewards in the future for America. The world wants a gentler America
because the world looks up to her in many ways. However, If you enjoy
being played by this sleazy Hillary,you probably was also played with
when you were a kid. Just my conjecture.
