Can a person apply for EAD only after approval of I-485? What happens to a H1B holder, if I-140 and EAD is approved and later I-485 is denied? Will the H1B status reinstated or leave the country? Is it a wise idea to take EAD before I-485 approval?

why you need EAD after I-485 approval? Once you have Green Card you are free to work. No need of EAD. If your I-485 is denied, all your pending application is denied as well. If you are in H1B, and didn't use EAD to work, H1B will be vaild until its valid period. Hope this helps. laborperm@gmail.com

Hello guys/gals, I am about to file I-485 with my lawyer. My lawyer has asked for 3 years of Tax Returns (W2s). As a student, for two years I worked with my SSN without any work permit. So now if I give the W2s to the lawyer, will I get into trouble? I know before many students work off-campus without any work permits and filed their GC and they got it. At that time, it took 3-5 years to get GC through company so all the work they did outside was not necessary to show. But now GC process is faster than before. Has anyone been in this type of situation and got GC? How did you handle the W2s? In advance, many thanks for your valuable feedbacks.
