Hi Guys,
Have u faced the same problem? Well, people back home think that Im playing with Euros and they assume my life had changed since I come over Europe. And everyone is demanding something. My frens who hardly used to call me when I was in Ktm are sending mails regularly and write '' K ho yaar, hamilai birsane......I heard Mobile is cheap in Euorpe......''

Most of them expect something, one of my frens (?) even wrote ''100 Euro pathau na yaar, ek dum tens bhayo, ghar ma kati paisa magnu yaar......aba tirmo lagi 100 euro ta k thulo kura bhayo ra yaar, tyo 100 euro Nepal ma 9 hajar hunchha, please tyati pathau la...... I know u can send me more but that will be enough now''

Ive gone sick with such mails.....but they hardly know REALITY, how tough is life here, we toil every moment for hand to mouth. And hey one thing, THE VALUE OF MONEY IS MUCH BIGGER IN WESTERN SOCIETY THAN IN NEPAL ( in my opinion). People do not squander like in Nepal. FOr instance, In Nepal a person earning 5 hajar PM can spend 100/ 200 Rupees easily for breakast, lunch or some snacks but here even to spend euro they think twice. Ive never seen any Nepali people going to shop to get money by exchaning BOTTLES (beer bottles and something like that) but here in Europe, they dont throw EMPTY BOTTLES coz they get them 10 cents and they count it a lot.

Not only that when they go for shopping, they carry their own plastic bags or other things to put the stuff REASON they have to pay for those PLATIC bags (hardly 20 cents). There r so many examples like this. What I realised that, we Nepalis like MONEY to spend and we feel great if we could do that im also not an exception.

But pleae help me how to tackle with my friends mails? If I explain all these they say Im not helping them or something like that.......Have u ever been experienced such things?

it's one thing to help a fren, if he really needs it, if my fren was really in a need, i'd help him out in any whatsoever way.

but if its their habbit of asking money from you, then well quite simply they're making you a "murga".

you need to tell them 2 words.....Fak you.

Don't be afraid to say "NO". Are you their parents or wot? And how many children(your friends) are you planning to adopt?

Suggest them to do part-time job if they are still studying. e.g. in restaurant

My frend amazing,,,i think you and me are on the same boat. i think most of the pll who live abroard like us or europe face the same kind of "problems". pll are just demanding things like..a mobile "with camera ofcourse"(i my self have that old samsung E700 haha) a photo camera with 5.1 mega pixels and stuff like that. ma afu sanga ta euta dhanga ko chaina!!! hahahaha

you know im going back to nepal for visit after 6 years. and dint wanna tell anyone that i was coming, but somehow they managed to figure out that im visiting nepal. now can u guys imagine what kind of long list i have about stuff that they are ecpecting me to bring?? pffffff i dont even wanna start.

My dear frends who are struggeling in us or europe, dont feel ashamed to say No to your frends of others. if they were at your place then they wud do the same thing.

lemme give you guys a good example about my experience... I have a frend who is in dubai now..he came to dubai like 2 years ago and started doing some job for low salary.
One day we were talking on the phone and he was telling me about his finacial problem and stuff like that. so i felt bad about it and told him that i will send him some money so atleast he wont have to sleep with empty stomack.

it was like almost end of the month, so i was waiting my salary to come and send the money that i promised. ani ke bhayo bhane...he was calling me everyday to ask if i sent the money with western union. every single freaking day...

after a week i sent him the money..and guess what?? that good frend of mine never even called me once just to say thank you..forget about the general calling part...ahahahaha.... i was like..wah wah dost ho to aisa !!

So dear frends,, forget about those pll who will just demand things from you..feel free to say NO !!!...ofcourse i wont say dont help to those who are really in trouble. tara khali fokat ko paisa udaune lai ..nothing but my shaved balls...:P..thanks

amazing buddy,

i hear you my friend. hahahaha.....friends in need are friends indeed re bhanchhan. tesaile khai aba k bhannu.

1) try to see if your freinds or people who are asking are in a real need of it.

2) look at you, i mean are you in a position really to afford.

then it is all up to you. i will say be open and frank when it comes to money matter. if you have and u can and they need, go for it. else tell them explicitly haina?

cheers
Loote

This is the situation created by ourselves,we dont bother to tell them that how tough our life is over here, how hard we have to work to earn money and take care of ourselves,we just go back to nepal and start to show-off as soon as we land on TIA as if our money really grows on money fricking plant, thats nepali style earn less but still show as if you got money to buy the whole country...amazing mitra maybe you haven't done that,ok i accept but many guys who are abroad tend to do that and have done that,i know few guys who still brag about their cars they have bought in amrika and sometime send me their photos posing infront of their cars, they just want to tell that he is having a hell of a life over there, which i will assume he is, because middle classed people like us in nepal dont own a car and we even dont own a personal bike, its common for the whole family i mean dad, brother, myself and sometime mom calls us to pick her up from some place....seeing the personal car, yes, we do assume that your money grows in money plant(i know buying car is cheaper over there than in nepal)...and why dont you just tell your friend that how hard it is to earn money and live a good life in europe?? how hard it is to earn and spend at same time??why dont you tell him that you earn in euro and have to spend in euro not in rupees?why dont you tell him its same like earning around 5000 ruppes and spending that in nepal??are you ashamed to tell that to your friend??if he's your good friend than he will certainly understand and believe you but you couldnt do that, could you?? because you want your friend to think that you are nothing less than a "khaire",this trend of "bidesh jaane nepali people" has brainwashed the mind of young generation, everybody these days want to go to US or europe as if money will just show up as soon as they reach there, which wont happen and they turn up depressed and go on missing like some girl few days back.i think you havent been able to clear things up with your friend, just tell him the reality and if he doesnt believe you than he doesnt trust you and if he doesnt trust you then he is not your loyal friend...just try once,i hope i have helped you to tackle with your friends mail(s).

thats the nepalese mentality...beware guys...............
i work for freaking 110 hrs or more in summer just to pay ma bills and these people think that we rob banks out here in us or europe wherever it is ............
