Greetings and Happy Friday!

I am sure most of us are aware of sites like Hi5, myspace, friendster, etc which are basically sites where users are connected to other users via thier acquaintances - creating a network of friends.

Right now there are lots of users in sajha - over 16,000 registered users and over 70,000 unregistered users every month, who could all be brought together with a site similar to the ones above. A site like that could bridge the gap among individuals and bring our diversified population closer.

Now that sajha seems to be operating smoothly, I am looking forward to the next project - a site similar to Hi5, in order to Bring together Nepali Network.

As I have learnt from the past the sajha combined knowledgebase is very large and I would like to get some feedback on the domain names, functionalities, etc. from our very own sajha community.

k6.com sounds better than k6yar.com as the word 'yar' bothers me.

A search option on sajha.com's forum also needs to be well-organized.

Lets not call it nepalihi5 or something san. Lets call it something like "nepali chautari" or something that stands for a nepali meeting place. lets called "www.aangan.com"?

I think these shoould be some of the main features of the site.
1. A security system whereby only friends in networks can see friends' photos. Because we dot want people's (esp. girls') photos cropped and featured in some porn site or somewhere on the web.
2. A feature whereby users can have a forum. But lets not rule out sajha. Sajha will and should always be around. Www.aangan.com will obviously primarily reach out to the youth. However, discussion forums on various issues should be made avalable.
3. Nudity, vulgar behaviour and anything unacceptable in a general "aangan" of a house should not be allowed. However, if users wanna participate in lude behaviours in the "private" section of the websitre, they may do so, but not in open public discussions.
4. Site shall have no adult or minor designation, everyone who can use a computer should be able to use it without offending themselves.
